Each symptom can have more than one cause. We confirm the exact fault during the diagnosis, before giving you a price. If you smell gas, leave the home and call your gas utility or 911 first. Don't use a cracked glass cooktop; turn it off at the breaker.

We service residential cooktops only, not restaurant equipment.
Countertop, gas line and electrical work
We don't cut countertops, install new gas lines or add circuits.
Cooktop repair questions
Do I pay anything if I decide not to repair my cooktop?
Only the $80 in-home visit, which includes the full diagnosis. Nothing else is charged without your approval.
Do you repair induction cooktops?
Yes. We diagnose induction electronics, sensors and controls at your home.
Can you replace a cracked glass top?
In many models, yes, if the glass is still available from the manufacturer. We confirm part availability and price after the diagnosis.
Is it worth repairing an older cooktop?
It depends on the fault and the price of the part. After the diagnosis you get a written repair price to compare with buying new, and the decision is yours.
What does the warranty cover?
A 1-year limited warranty on parts supplied and installed by ENGIFIX, including the labor to replace a covered part. A new service call is not included.
