Each symptom can have more than one cause. We confirm the exact fault during the diagnosis, before giving you a price. To protect your food while you wait, keep the doors closed as much as possible. Refrigerant work is done only by our EPA 608 Universal certified technician.

We test your refrigerator at your home and show you the cause. You get a written estimate for parts and labor, and you decide. If you decide not to repair it, the visit is all you pay.

What's not included
Commercial refrigeration
We service residential refrigerators and freezers only, not walk-in coolers or restaurant equipment.
Plumbing work
We connect the water line to your existing supply valve. We don't install new water lines.
Refrigerator repair questions
Do I pay anything if I decide not to repair my refrigerator?
Only the $80 in-home visit, which includes the full diagnosis. Nothing else is charged without your approval.
Are you certified to work with refrigerant?
Yes. Our technician holds EPA Section 608 Universal certification, required to work on sealed refrigerant systems.
Can you tell me the price over the phone?
Not before seeing the refrigerator. A cooling problem can come from many different parts, so we give a written estimate only after the diagnosis.
Is it worth repairing an older refrigerator?
It depends on the fault and the price of the part. After the diagnosis you get a written repair price to compare with buying new, and the decision is yours.
What does the warranty cover?
A 1-year limited warranty on parts supplied and installed by ENGIFIX, including the labor to replace a covered part. A new service call is not included.
